Last year, Congress rejected California's ban on new gas-powered cars and trucks — but the state is still attempting to force the electrification of vehicles, ships, ports, lawn mowers and other small engines — just through different regulatory pathways.

California’s overreach is a threat to consumer choice, affordability and energy reliability across America. And the only reason California can do this is because previous EPAs gave unlawful waivers allowing CA to enforce these regulations. Other states have even leaned on these waivers to adopt some of these California rules.

The EPA recently sent six California waivers to Congress for consideration under the Congressional Review Act (CRA). That means your Representatives and Senators have an opportunity to stop these California mandates before they drive up costs for all American consumers and businesses.
