Late last year, in one of the final acts of the Biden-Harris administration, the U.S. EPA gave California the “all-clear” to move forward with a 100 percent ban on sales of new gas, diesel, and traditional hybrid cars and trucks by 2035. This isn’t just a California problem. The fallout will have real effects here in Toledo.

Although federal law prohibits states from making such rules, the EPA decided to approve them anyway via waivers.
