No Friday News Roundup this week! Instead, we wanted to take a short moment to thank each of you for the work you do and the efforts you’ve made on behalf of our industries.
These newsletters, and the entire AFPM EMPOWER program, are about finding better ways to talk to family, friends, strangers and policymakers about the downstream and midstream industries, and the products we make. And over the past 12 months, you excelled.
In 2023, we heard from operators who shared our infographics with their parents, maintenance techs who learned how to talk about sustainability with their kids, and thousands of you who wrote letters to Congress and submitted comments to regulators about policies that affect our industries.
But more than that, we’d like to thank you for another year of making and moving the energy and products that make modern life possible. Without your rain-or-shine, even-on-holidays work, none of us could enjoy the warm homes, affordable transportation, cutting-edge technologies and essential materials that define our lives and help solve some of the world’s biggest challenges.
