Moments ago, President Trump signed the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution officially overturning California’s ban on sales of new gas cars. In doing so, he—and bipartisan majorities in Congress—delivered on a Day 1 promise to end gas car bans and vehicle mandates in our country.

Today’s signing is a huge win for our industries—protecting energy and manufacturing jobs, U.S. families and our national energy security. And guess what!? Some members of our industries were at the White House for the historic event!

We thank President Trump and the Democrats and Republicans in Congress who voted yes on the CRA for doing right by American families and preserving consumer choice!

And we thank all of you for making today possible! Together, thousands of you contacted your elected officials to explain the stakes of this issue for our industries and our jobs. Don't ever doubt whether your voice makes a difference because overturning the ban wouldn't have happened without you!
